Setting Up OmniCalls

OmniCalls is your AI phone agent. It answers calls, qualifies leads, books appointments, and handles common inquiries — all by voice.

Step 1: Get a Phone Number

  • Go to Agents → OmniCalls → Phone Numbers
  • Click Get a Number
  • Choose your country and area code
  • Select a number from the available options
  • Confirm — your number is ready instantly
  • You can also port an existing number. Contact support for assistance.

    Step 2: Configure Your Agent

    Set up how your AI agent handles calls:

  • Greeting: What the agent says when it picks up (e.g., "Hi, thanks for calling Omni. How can I help?")
  • Business hours: When the agent should answer live vs. send to voicemail
  • Language: Primary language for the conversation
  • Voice: Choose from several natural-sounding voices
  • Call duration limit: Maximum length for AI-handled calls
  • Step 3: Train on Your Business

    Just like OmniChat, OmniCalls needs to know your business. It uses the same training data — services, FAQs, pricing, and booking rules. If you've already trained OmniChat, OmniCalls will use that knowledge automatically.

    Step 4: Set Up Call Routing

    Define what happens in different scenarios:

  • New inquiry: Qualify and attempt to book
  • Existing customer: Look up their record and assist
  • Emergency/urgent: Transfer to a human immediately
  • After hours: Take a message or offer callback
  • Step 5: Go Live

    Toggle OmniCalls to Active. Calls to your number will now be answered by your AI agent.
