Connect Your Channels

OmniChat works across four messaging channels. Here's how to connect each one.

WhatsApp Business

  • Go to Agents → OmniChat → Channels
  • Click Connect WhatsApp
  • Sign in with your Meta Business account
  • Select your WhatsApp Business number
  • Authorize Omni to send and receive messages
  • Requirements: A WhatsApp Business account (not personal) and a verified Meta Business Manager.

    Instagram Direct Messages

  • Go to Agents → OmniChat → Channels
  • Click Connect Instagram
  • Sign in with your Instagram account
  • Ensure your account is a Business or Creator account
  • Authorize the required permissions
  • Requirements: Instagram Business or Creator account connected to a Facebook Page.

    Facebook Messenger

  • Go to Agents → OmniChat → Channels
  • Click Connect Facebook
  • Select the Facebook Page you want to connect
  • Authorize Omni to manage page messages
  • Requirements: Admin access to the Facebook Page.

    Website Chat Widget

  • Go to Agents → OmniChat → Channels
  • Click Website Chat
  • Customize the widget appearance (colors, greeting, position)
  • Copy the embed code
  • Paste it before the closing </body> tag on your website
  • The widget works on any website — WordPress, Shopify, Wix, custom builds, etc.

    Managing Channels

    You can connect multiple channels simultaneously. All messages appear in a single unified inbox regardless of source.
